Dress according to the position for which you are applying

NEAT, CLEAN, TIDY is extremely important


If you are unsure of what to wear you may want to drop by earlier in the week to see what the staff is wearing

If work clothing is required take them along so you can start the same day

Be sure to Polish your shoes

MEN

For business, public contact, and customer service jobs, wear a suit or matching jacket and pants, tie socks, shoes and shirt. Do not wear extreme colours. Your tie should not be showy.

No reds or purple, these are seen as power colours. Wear navy, gray, beige, colours that will look neat and tidy and not take away from your interview. You want the interviewer to see your face and concentrate on it.

For less formal jobs wear a sports coat, sport shirt and sweater. Match your clothing to the type of clothing that would be worn on the job

Factory position, it is acceptable to wear blue jeans. Be sure they are clean and free of holes

Have your coat off and over your arm. No logo shirts or jackets

No stripes, plaids or prints

Be clean-shaven, hair neatly styled, moustache and beard trimmed

NO cologne or body spray

No chains or earrings

WOMEN

For business, public contact and customer service jobs, wear simple, neat clothing (suit with skirt or pants) Sensible shoes.

For less formal positions, wear dress pants and a blouse with a jacket or sweater.

Factory position, it is acceptable to wear blue jeans. Be sure they are clean and free of holes

Have your coat off and over your arm. No logo shirts or jackets

Jewellery should be simple. No purse, bring an organizer.

Makeup should be lightly applied. Nails neat and clean, not overly long or with trendy polish.
