Adult Protective Services
The Protective Services program provides advocacy and support to adults with a developmental disability residing in any community within Greenstone, including First Nations communities. This program is a self/caregiver referral-based program and all participation is voluntary. The Adult Protective Service Worker (APSW) will assist clients with obtaining and maintaining accommodation, legal issues, financial issues, application for Ontario Disability Support Program assistance, daily living skills, medical issues, transportation to out-of-town appointments and accessing social and recreational opportunities.
