The Municipality of Greenstone has two licensed Childcare Centres that offer engaging, educational programming, EarlyON Program, and child support for families within the community.

Child support
Our Childcare Centres are open to children from 18 months to 12 years of age. We offer various attendance options to meet your family's individual needs. Contact the Manager of Community Services to determine which program is the best fit for you.
Programs we offer
We offer a variety of childcare programs at our Centres. These programs provide safe, supportive environments for your child to learn, grow, and play.
Toddler Program |

The Toddler Program is available to children 18 months to two-and-a-half years old. You must supply diapers and inside shoes for your child. We also recommend bringing more than one change of clothes for this age group. |
Pre-School Program |
|
Our Pre-School Program is available for children two-and-a-half to four years old. Parents must supply a change of clothes, diapers (if needed) and indoor shoes. |
Kindergarten and School Age Program |
|
Our Junior Kindergarten, Senior Kindergarten and School Age Program is available to children who attend school. We offer childcare before and after school, as well as school holidays and PD days. |
Emergency and Drop-In Program |
|
Our Emergency and Drop-In Program is set up to help you with childcare support if you only need care in an emergency or on a temporary basis. |
Integrated Program |

Our centres are inclusive to all and ensure that children receive optimal benefit from our programs. If your child has special needs, our Resource Teacher can work with you to prepare individual program plans for your child. We can help progress specific developmental areas including speech, muscle development, socialization, and behavioural difficulties. |
EarlyON Program |
|
Our EarlyON Program offers free, educational drop-in programs for families and children from birth to 6 years old. |
Parent involvement
As a parent or guardian, you're a vital part of our programs. Our educators are always willing to discuss your child's day at the program with you and address any questions or concerns you may have. You are always welcome to drop in and spend some time with your child during the day.

Geraldton Family Resource Centre
The Geraldton Family Resource Centre is a women's shelter in the Municipality of Greenstone that offers 24/7 support to women and children who need support and a safe place to stay.
