Recreation Programs

Recreation Programs are open to anyone within the guidelines of each program, and a minimum and maximum number of participants are set for each class. We are always looking for individuals willing to share their skills to run classes for us. Instructors are paid for their classes, and we do all the work in advertising, collecting registration fees and setting up for the classes. If you are interested in any of our programs, or if you have a skill that you are willing to share, contact us today!

Greenstone Recreation Programs for Spring 2018

Beardmore

Yoga Every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Beardmore Public School gym starting April 18, 2018.

Geraldton

Mixed Badminton Every Monday from 7:30-10:00 pm at Geraldton Composite High School for ages 18 & up
Mixed Volleyball Every Friday from 7:30-10:00 pm at Geraldton Compostie High School for ages 18 & up
Basic Gymnastics Alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays starting January 11th at St. Joseph's School. Ages 7& under 5:15-6:00 pm and 8 & up 6:00-6:45 pm
Yoga for Youth Every Wednesday from 4:00-4:45 pm at the Geraldton Community Centre starting May 2, 2018
Youth Basketball Every Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's gym starting January 23, 2018. No cost to participate. For youths in Grades 7 to 12.

Nakina Ward

Moccasin Making Every Wednesday evening at the Nakina Complex from 6:30-8:00 p.m. starting Jan. 31 for 6 weeks. To register call the Nakina Ward office 329-5361. 
Active Play Every Tuesday at the Nakina Public School gym from 6:0-7:00 p.m. starting March 6, 2018. Free play for youth and parents/guardians.

Longlac Ward

Fitness Boot Camp Classes every Tuesday and Thursdays starting April 17, 2018 at Marjorie Mills school gym from 6:30-7:30 p.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m.. (Both classes full)
