  • Sale of Land by Public Tender - 66 Main Street, Jellicoe Ward

    The Municipality of Greenstone is inviting sealed tenders for the purchase and redevelopment of the surplus property municipally known as 66 Main Street, Jellicoe, Ontario. The property is being offered for sale on an “as-is, where-is” basis through a public tender process intended to encourage redevelopment and productive reuse of the site. Tenders will be accepted until August 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

  • Water Shut-Off Notice – Queen Ave, Geraldton

    As part of the Main Street Reconstruction Project, a temporary water service interruption is required on Queen Avenue in Geraldton to complete work on the municipal watermain. The water shutdown is scheduled to begin early in the morning on Thursday, July 23rd and is expected to last approximately 1–2 hours, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

  • Capital Project Update – Beardmore Snowman Restoration

    The Municipality of Greenstone is pleased to announce the restoration of the iconic Beardmore Snowman, helping preserve one of the community's most recognizable landmarks. Approved by Council through the 2026 Municipal Capital Budget, the project was also supported through 50% funding from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), demonstrating a shared commitment to preserving important community assets. Construction is scheduled to begin on July 22.

  • NOTICE – CAMP 25 ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT

    Culvert replacement work on Camp 25 Road will begin today. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, weather permitting.
