The Municipality of Greenstone enforces our animal-related by-law and responds to your animal concern to make our community safe. The Municipality operates and maintains one dog pound located in the Geraldton Ward.

Lost and found pets
If your pet goes missing, contact our Animal Control Officer to confirm if the dog has been impounded.
When pets are found by an Animal Control Officer, we do everything we can to contact its owner and bring it home safely. Any pet that is lost or found at a dog pound will acquire a pound fee of $3.00 per day.
