CALLING ALL VENDORS! The Municipality of Greenstone is pleased to announce Bids And Tenders as it's new procurement platform.
As per the Municipality's Purchasing of Goods, Services and Construction Policy, purchases greater than $25,000 will use Bids and Tenders. Purchases under $25,000 will still be handled by staff according to the process as outlined in the policy and no registration is required.
WHAT DOES MY BUSINESS NEED TO DO?
If you are interested in larger scale projects, register your business on our bids&tenders platform to receive notifications, register for and submit your digital bids for goods and services being purchased by The Municipality of Greenstone, as well as those posted by hundreds of other municipalities and public organizations.
If you already have a bids&tenders account, you don't need to register again, just sign in using your existing login information.
Bid Opportunities
The Municipality frequently purchases good and services from vendors and will now be posting procurement opportunities on the Bids and Tenders online e-bidding platform. Submissions are received electronically through Bids and Tenders. Viewers can easily search for open, closed and awarded bid opportunities. The Bids & Tenders homepage displays OPEN procurement postings by default. To view AWARDED procurement postings in Bids & Tenders, find the OPEN button on the right hand side of the page and use the drop down menu to make your selection.
Create An Account

Co-operative PURCHASES
The Municipality of Greenstone intends to participate in one or more procurement opportunities that may be posted by the following buying groups for the period January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024:
- Local Authority Services (LAS). For further information and access to LAS procurements, please review their website.
- Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM). For further information and access to OECM procurements, please review their website.
- Canoe Procurement Group of Canada. For further information and access to Canoe Procurement Group procurements, please review their website.
SURPLUS Goods
We may use auction houses as well as Govdeals to dispose of surplus goods, in accordance with our Policy on Disposal of Municipal Assets.
Contractor requirements
Contractors must follow our Health and Safety Policy.
Any contracted employee that deals with the public or third party on behalf of the Municipality of Greenstone must complete Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) Customer Service Standard training.
Standard contractor prequalification requirements include Proof of Insurance and WSIB Clearance Certificate. Additional certificates may be required, such as applicable trade certificates.
