The Municipality of Greenstone is excited to announce applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Municipality of Greenstone Scholarship Awards. The scholarship promotes the commitment to education by providing eligible students financial assistance to further their education. The Municipality will award upto four $1500 Scholarships to Greenstone residents attending a post-secondary institution. Eligible and successful applicants are not based on academic standing or ward distribution, but rather on the submission of an essay on How would you and how did you improve your community? By engaging our youth we welcome ideas of how to improve our community.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2025 graduates that are residents of the Municipality of Greenstone attending Geraldton Composite High School or Ecole secondaire Chateau-Jeunesse.
- Entering into the first year of post-secondary education.
Submission Requirements
- A signed complete application form submitted to the Clerk on or before May 5, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
- A 500 - 1000 word essay describing "How would you and how did you improve your community?"
How to Apply
- Complete and submit your application online; or
- Download and complete the application form, attach your essay and return to the Clerk by email.
