Back to SearchA burn will be conducted at the Nakina Landfill on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and is expected to burn for an extended period of time. Smoldering may occur up until the weekend (January 11 or 12).
Only separated wood products (tree debris, discarded lumber, etc.) are being burned as is permitted under our Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) Regulations and the burn is being monitored.
