NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

On Monday, February 10, 2025, the Council of the Municipality of Greenstone will hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 7. (6) of the Ontario Building Code Act, 1992, S.O. 1992, c.23 to consider adopting a new building permit fee schedule. 

Note: This shall serve as Public Notice in compliance with Section 7 (6) of the Building Code Act, as amended, and Division C, - Part 1, Article 1.9, Sentence 1.9.1.2 of the Ontario Building Code O. Reg.163/24.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed Building Permit Fee Schedule. 

The meeting is to be held

Monday, February 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

In person attendance: Greenstone Council Chambers, 1800 Main Street, Geraldton Ward

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the building permit fee review is being made available on the Municipal website News and Notices webpage and copies are being made available from the Municipal Clerk at the above location on January 2, 2025.   

Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting or in writing, addressed to the Municipal Clerk at the above address prior to February 5, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

It is the intent that the new Building Department fee schedule will be effective March 1, 2025.
