Get ready for the annual Spring Clean-Up, as outlined in By-law 25-20. This program provides curbside collection of household bulky waste.

Important Guidelines:

  • Sort materials into the following groups:
Yard waste, tires, electronics, metals/appliances, furniture, and household items.

Mixed materials will not be collected. Property owners will be responsible for their disposal under Clean Yards By-law 24-04

  • Hazardous items (e.g., paint, propane) are not accepted.
  • Appliances containing Freon must have a Freon removal tag, available at municipal ward offices.
  • Brush and grass clippings must be bagged or bundled.
  • Collection takes place on your regular garbage day. Check the online Garbage Collection Calendar for your schedule.
  • Waste is collected by material type, so different items may be picked up at different times throughout the day. Minor delays are possible.

Let’s keep our communities clean and safe this spring!
